Stance

Feet in third position.  Elbows up, hands kept active.

Walk:

Direct, in straight lines.  Head moves like a chicken, elbows up.

Characteristics:

Stoicism in the face of misery.  Anaesthetised his sensitivity by pretending to have no feelings.  Only vents feelings when alone.  Totally honest.  Conscientious and full of remorse at the slightest harm to another.

Relationships:

Unhesitatingly faithful to his master (Scapino) and Colombina fore whom he suffers eternally unrequited love.  If she deceives him he blames himself for not being adequate.
